(3) Use of cookies:
(a) This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are explained below:
– Transient cookies (for this purpose b)
– Persistent cookies (see c).

§ 4 Newsletter
(1) With your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter, with which we inform you about our current attractive offers. The advertised goods and services are named in the declaration of consent.
(2) We use the so-called double-opt-in procedure to subscribe to our newsletter. This means that after your registration, we will send you an e-mail to the e-mail address you provided, in which we ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. If you do not approve your registration within [24 hours], your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. In addition, we store your IP addresses used and the times of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this procedure is to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify a possible misuse of your data.
(3) Only your e-mail address is required for sending the newsletter. The provision of further, separately marked data is voluntary and will be used to address you personally. After your confirmation, we store your e-mail address to send you the newsletter. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DS-GVO.
(4) You can revoke your consent to sending the newsletter at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can declare the revocation by clicking on the link provided in every newsletter e-mail, by e-mail to info@procos.info, or by sending a message to the contact details provided in the imprint.
(5) This website uses the services of MailChimp for sending newsletters. The provider is Rocket Science Group LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
MailChimp is a service with which newsletters can be organized and analyzed, among other things. When you enter data to receive newsletters (e.g., e-mail address), this data is stored on MailChimp’s servers in the USA.
MailChimp has a certification according to the “EU-US Privacy Shield.” The “Privacy Shield” is an agreement between the European Union (EU) and the USA, which is intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards in the USA.
(6) With the help of MailChimp, we can analyze our newsletter campaigns. When you open an e-mail sent with MailChimp, a file contained in the e-mail (so-called web beacon) connects to MailChimp’s servers in the USA. This makes it possible to determine whether a newsletter message has been opened and which links, if any, have been clicked on. In addition, technical information is recorded (e.g., time of retrieval, IP address, browser type and operating system). This information cannot be assigned to the respective newsletter recipient. It is used exclusively for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of these analyses can be used better to adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.
If you do not want any analysis by MailChimp, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide a corresponding link in every newsletter message.
The data processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
We will store the data you have provided us with to receive the newsletter until you unsubscribe from the newsletter and be deleted from our servers and MailChimp servers after you unsubscribe from the newsletter. Data stored by us for other purposes (e.g., e-mail addresses for the member area) remain unaffected by this.
For more details, please refer to the data protection provisions of MailChimp at: https://mailchimp.com/legal/terms/.
Conclusion of a data processing agreement
We have concluded a so-called “Data-Processing-Agreement” with MailChimp, in which we oblige MailChimp to protect our customers’ data and not pass them on to third parties. This agreement can be viewed at the following link: https://mailchimp.com/legal/forms/data-processing-agreement/sample-agreement/.
§ 5 Use of Google Analytics
(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies,” which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. For example, suppose IP anonymization is activated on this website. In that case, however, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or other contracting states to the agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.
(2) The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
(3) You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser; however, please note that you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website if you do this. (4) This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp().” This means that IP addresses are processed in a shortened form, thus excluding the possibility of personal references. If the data collected about you is related to a person, this is immediately excluded and the personal data is deleted immediately.
(5) We use Google Analytics to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.

Avoiding the use of Piwik is possible by removing the next tick and thus activating the opt-out plug-in: [Piwik iFrame].
(3) This website uses Piwik with the extension “AnonymizeIP.” This means that IP addresses are processed in abbreviated form, meaning they cannot be directly linked to a specific person. The IP address transmitted by your browser via Piwik is not merged with other data collected by us.
(4) The Piwik program is an open-source project. Information from the third-party provider on data protection is available at https://matomo.org/privacy-policy/.
§ 7 Use of eTracker
(1) This website uses etracker GmbH (https://www.etracker.com/) to collect and store data for marketing and optimization. From this data, user profiles can be created under a pseudonym. Cookies (see § 3 for more details) can be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files stored locally in the cache of the site visitor’s Internet browser. The cookies enable the recognition of the Internet browser. The data collected with the eTracker technologies will not be used to personally identify the visitor to this website without the separately granted consent of the person concerned. Furthermore, we use the system for measures to protect the website’s security, e.g., detecting attacks or viruses. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Automattic Inc. has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov. The legal basis for the use of Jetpack is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.
(2) For this evaluation, cookies (see § 3 for more details) are stored on your computer. The information collected in this way is stored on a server in the USA. If you prevent the storage of cookies, please note that you may not use this website to its full extent. You can prevent the storage of cookies by changing the settings in your browser or by clicking on the “Click here to Opt-out” button at https://www.quantcast.com/opt-out/.

(3) This website uses Adobe Analytics (Omniture) with the settings “Before Geo-Lookup: Replace visitor’s last IP octet with 0” and “Obfuscate IP-Removed,” which shortens your IP address by the last octet and replaces it with a generic IP address, i.e., one that can no longer be assigned. A personal reference can thus be ruled out.
(4) Information from the third-party provider: Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited, Ireland, 4-6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin 24, Republic of Ireland; privacy@adobe.com; data protection information: https://www.adobe.com/de/privacy/policy.html.
§ 10 Use of the Scalable Central Measuring System (SZM)
(1) Our website uses the measurement procedure (“SZMnG”) of INFOnline GmbH (https://www.infonline.de) to determine statistical parameters about the use of our offers. The range measurement aims to assess the intensity of use, the number of users of a website, and the surfing behaviour statistically – on the basis of a uniform standard procedure – and thus obtain values comparable across the market.
For web offerings that are members of the Informationsgemeinschaft zur Feststellung der Verbreitung von Werbeträgern e. V. (IVW – http://www.ivw.eu) or participate in the studies of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Online-Forschung e. V. (AGOF). (AGOF – https://www.agof.de/), the usage statistics are regularly collected by AGOF and the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Media-Analyse e. V. (agma – https://www.agof.de/). (agma – https://www.agma-mmc.de/), as well as IVW, and can be viewed on the respective websites.
INFOnline GmbH collects and processes data following German data protection law. Technical and organizational measures ensure that individual users cannot be identified at any time. Furthermore, data that may reference a specific, identifiable person is anonymized as soon as possible.
1.1 Anonymisation of the IP address
Every device needs a unique address, the so-called IP address, to transmit data on the internet. At least for a short period, the storage of the IP address is technically necessary due to the way the internet works. The IP addresses are shortened before any processing and are only processed anonymously. Untruncated IP addresses are not stored or processed.
1.2 Geolocation up to the level of federal states/regions
So-called geolocation, i.e., the assignment of a website call to the call location, is carried out exclusively based on the anonymized IP address and only up to the geographical level of the federal states/regions. Therefore, under no circumstances can conclusions be drawn about the specific place of residence from the geographical information obtained in this way.
1.3 Identification number of the device
The range measurement alternatively uses either a cookie with the identification “ioam.de,” a “Local Storage Object,” or an anonymous signature, which is created from various automatically transmitted information of your browser, for the recognition of computer systems. The validity of the cookie is limited to a maximum of 1 year.
1.4 Login ID
To measure distributed use (use of a service from different devices), the user ID at login, if available, can be transmitted to INFOnline as an anonymized checksum.
2. deletion
The stored usage data will be deleted after 7 months at the latest.
3. objection
If you do not wish to participate in the measurement, you can object under the following link: https://optout.ioam.de/.
Further information on data protection in the measurement procedure can be found on the website of INFOnline GmbH (https://www.infonline.de), which operates the measurement procedure, the data protection website of AGOF (http://www.agof.de/datenschutz-allgemein/) and the data protection website of IVW (http://www.ivw.eu).
(2) We use the SZM procedure to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the SZM procedure is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.
§ 11 Use of social media plug-ins
(1) We currently use social media plug-ins: Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Xing, T3N, LinkedIn, Flattr. We use the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognize the provider of the plug-in by marking the box with its initial letter or logo. We allow you to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only if you click on the marked box and thereby activate it, the plug-in provider receives the information that you have called up the corresponding website of our online offer. In addition, the data mentioned under § 3 of this declaration is transmitted. According to the respective providers in Germany, the IP address is anonymised immediately after collection in the case of Facebook and Xing. By activating the plug-in, your data is transmitted to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (in the case of US providers in the USA). Since the plug-in provider collects the data in particular via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies via your browser’s security settings before clicking on the greyed-out box.
(2) We do not influence the data collected and data processing operations, nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes of the processing, the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the collected data by the plug-in provider.

You have the right to object to creating these user profiles, whereby you must contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right. Via the plug-ins, we offer you the opportunity to interact with the social networks and other users to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.
(4) The data transfer occurs regardless of whether you have an account with the plug-in provider and are logged in there. If you are logged in to the plug-in provider, your data collected from us will be directly assigned to your account with the plug-in provider. If you click the activated button and, for example, link to the page, the plug-in provider also saves this information in your user account and shares it publicly with your contacts. Therefore, we recommend that you log out regularly after using a social network, but especially before activating the button. This will help you avoid an assignment to your profile with the plug-in provider.

§ 16 Use of Google Adwords Conversion6
(1) We use Google Adwords to draw attention to our attractive offers on external websites with the help of advertising media (so-called Google Adwords). We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are concerning the data of the advertising campaigns. In this way, we pursue the interest of showing you advertising that is of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs.
(2) These advertisements are delivered by Google via so-called “ad servers.” For this purpose, we use ad server cookies, through which specific parameters for measuring success, such as the display of the ads or clicks by users, can be measured. If you access our website via a Google ad, Google Adwords will store a cookie on your PC. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. However, the unique cookie ID, number of ad impressions per placement (frequency), last appearance (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (marking that the user no longer wishes to be addressed) are usually stored as analysis values for this cookie.
(3) These cookies enable Google to recognize your internet browser. For example, suppose a user visits certain pages of the website of an Adwords customer and the cookie stored on his computer has not yet expired. In that case, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. A different cookie is assigned to each Adwords customer. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. We do not collect or process any personal data in the advertising mentioned above measures. We only receive statistical evaluations from Google. These evaluations enable us to recognize which of the advertising measures used are particularly effective. We do not accept any further data from the use of the advertising media; in particular, we cannot identify users based on this information.
(4) Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Google server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of AdWords Conversion, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or have not logged in, the provider may obtain and store your IP address.
(5) You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) by adjusting your browser software accordingly, in particular, the suppression of third-party cookies will result in you not receiving any third-party ads; b) by disabling cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com, https://www.google. de/settings/ads, whereby this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; c) by deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the self-regulation campaign “About Ads” via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; d) by permanently deactivating them in your browsers Firefox, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome under the link https://support.google.com/ads/answer/7395996. We want to point out that you may not be able to use all functions of this offer to their full extent in this case.
(6) The legal basis for the processing of your data is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. Further information on data protection at Google can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de and https://services.google.com/sitestats/de.html. § 17 Remarketing
In addition to Adwords Conversion, we use the Google Remarketing application. This is a procedure with which we would like to address you again. Our advertisements can be displayed to you during your further internet use after visiting our website through this application. This is done employing cookies stored in your browser, which Google uses to record and evaluate your usage behavior when you visit various websites. In this way, Google can determine your previous visit to our website. However, according to its statements, Google does not combine the data collected in remarketing with your data, which Google may store. In particular, according to Google, pseudonymization is used in remarketing.
§ 18 DoubleClick by Google
(1) This website continues to use the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google. DoubleClick uses cookies to serve ads relevant to users, improve campaign performance reports, or prevent a user from seeing the same ads more than once. For example, Google uses a cookie ID to record which ads are shown in which browser and can thus prevent them from being displayed more than once. In addition, DoubleClick can use cookie IDs to record so-called conversions that are related to ad requests. This is the case, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later calls up the advertiser’s website with the same browser and buys something there. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain any personal information.
(2) Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with Google’s server. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Google through the use of this tool and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: Through the integration of DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding part of our website or clicked on an advertisement from us. (3) You can prevent participation in this tracking process in various ways: a) by adjusting your browser software accordingly, in particular, the suppression of third-party cookies will result in you not receiving any third-party ads; b) by disabling cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com, https://www.google. de/settings/ads, whereby this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; c) by deactivating the interest-based ads of the providers that are part of the self-regulation campaign “About Ads” via the link http://www.aboutads.info/choices, whereby this setting will be deleted when you delete your cookies; d) by permanently deactivating them in your browsers Firefox, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome under the link https://support.google.com/ads/answer/7395996. We want to point out that you may not be able to use all functions of this offer to their full extent in this case.

For more information on DoubleClick by Google, please visit https://www.doubleclickbygoogle.com/de/ and https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=de, and on data protection at Google in general: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy. Alternatively, you can see the website of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) at https://www.networkadvertising.org/. In addition, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
§ 19 Facebook Custom Audiences
(1) Furthermore, the website uses the remarketing function “Custom Audiences” of Facebook Inc. (“Facebook”). This allows users of the website to be shown interest-based advertisements (“Facebook Ads”) when visiting the social network Facebook or other websites that also use this procedure. In this way, we pursue the interest of showing you advertisements of interest to you to make our website more enjoyable.
(2) Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Facebook server. § 20 A/B testing
This analysis procedure is not currently used at Procos GmbH.
(1) This website continues to carry out analyses of user behavior via so-called A/B testing. In doing so, we can display our websites with slightly varied content, depending on a profile assignment that has been made. This allows us to analyze our offer, improve it regularly and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for A/B testing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DS-GVO.
(2) For this analysis, cookies (see § 3 for more details) are stored on your computer. The information collected in this way is stored by the responsible party exclusively on its server in [Germany].
